On 28 March 2025, the third edition of Science Café took place at Przestrzeń Kultura – Barbara in Wrocław. This time, participants joined hands-on workshops under the theme “What smells in food and how to name it?”
The session was led by Dr. Jacek Łyczko, Professor at the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences, an expert in the analysis of aromatic compounds in food. It was a chance to dive into the world of aromas – learning how to talk about scents, how perception differs from analysis, and how our senses shape everyday culinary experiences.
