SEASONED at the Conference in Istanbul!

Prof. Ángel Carbonell-Barrachina participated in the 3rd International Conference on Raw Materials to Processed Foods 2023, held on May 18–19 in Istanbul, Turkey.

In his plenary lecture titled “Sensory evaluation of foods with geographical indication”, he highlighted the crucial role of accreditation for regulating councils and the importance of trained sensory panels. Prof. Carbonell-Barrachina also introduced the SEASONED project, which drew strong interest in the idea of a sensory network centred around the upcoming excellence hub at the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences.
